How To Thaw Baked Beans Over the Stove

Here’s another quick way to thaw frozen baked beans. The total time to defrost depends on the volume of baked beans.

Don't use this method the frozen baked beans are in a Mason Jar or other glass jar. The only place to defrost frozen baked beans in a glass jar is in the refrigerator.

Instructions

Run the container(s) or freezer bag(s) under warm/hot water to loosen the baked beans.
Pour the beans into a pot and place it on low-medium heat on the stove.
Add a little water to the pot.
Heat until the baked beans have defrosted. Stir occasionally.
Gently reheat the baked beans after defrosting.
