Instructions
Take the soft-shelled crabs out of the freezer.
Place the wrapped crabs on a plate and put it in the fridge to defrost
overnight
.
Unwrap the crabs, rinse them clean under cold running water, and pat them dry with a paper towel.
To cook the crabs, steam them or
fry them
.
How To Steam Soft-Shelled Crabs
Fill a
large steamer pot
with 1 inch of salted water. Use the tongs to put the crab(s) in the steamer basket.
Cover the pot and steam until the crabs are cooked through, about
10 minutes.
The crab shells should appear red when cooked.
